NOVA TOWN is a nonprofit organization, 501(c)3, officially registered in 2006. Nova Town is entirely dedicated to reinventing an outdated, however very dominating  concept of a "modern" urban infrastructure, which concept is rooted in over a 100-year-old idea of the "future".  While small towns are dying out along with their good old traditions and charm, the monstrosity of gigantic cities are rapidly growing.  We are sadly trapped in our contemporary  hectic mode of overcrowded living not only "architecturally", but economically, physically and psychologically.

Nova Town CONCEPT: Nova Town's original concept lays in the uncommon combination of ideas.  If we restore the charm and cultural originality, sound traditions and peaceful lifestyle of a small old town,  and empower its infrastructure by advanced technology to support its sustainability, we have a true  breakthrough in our hands. Any small community built based on Nova Town's  concept will be served by the best available environmentally sound technology providing it with clean water, alternative energy,  waste,  sewage, geothermal systems, etc.

NOVA TOWN DEVELOPMENT - A "SMALL" PROJECT LEADS TO A COLOSSAL GLOBAL CHANGE FOR THE BETTER. Our truly new concept and methods of creating this  futuristic model town will serve as an inspiration and possible standard for other communities around the world. 
When accomplished, the Nova Town facility will become the first center for assisting in designing and building new sustainable communities of the future, as well as in redesigning  and restructuring existing urban communities of all types.  Our main goal - to give good resourceful people a great opportunity to support themselves within their natural resources, ecological environment, and culture. Diverse economic Micro-systems is a main  key to revive sound local production,  businesses, small manufacturing,  organic farming,  financing, better education, and even healthcare, while  supporting local meaningful and vivid mode of life.

INNOVATIVE COMMUTE CONCEPT
In the first place, Nova Town  infrastructure is to serve its own denizens, and not a collective non-existing human prototype. Nova Town internal road system is  mainly designed for pedestrians,  and for slow, noncommercial, non-fossil, very light compact vehicles and bicycles.

This  inside-the-town future transportation  represents a new generation of light sportish,  or whimsical and fun, however extremely practical vehicles for communing within the town.   While driving such vehicles on the town's park-like, curved streets, while listening to the birds singing, it would be easy for drivers to get to a work place,  watch the town's peaceful life, and park at any restaurants and shops. Driving and parking within a small community will become very safe for drivers and pedestrians, at the same time this traffic will maintain clean air and reduced traffic noise.  

INTERSTATE COMMUTE.  Located at the outer skirt of the town is the town's public garage facility for random  commercial delivery transportation and for the towners and visitors commercial cars. Without disturbing the town this public garage exits to a nearby commercial road. When the town internal  infrastructure serves  local sustainability and a vivid  mode of life, and at the same time has easy commute within other small towns in the area, the need in  intense everyday-driving on major roads will be noticeably reduced. 

Commercial airports and  thoughtfully planned  interstate road systems will be  very helpful in supporting interactions on a larger scale.  In cases of emergency or crisis they will  provide  easy access to  emergency hospitals,  some chain-stores and auto service stations down these  major interstate  commutes.

LIVE INTERACTIONS WITH THE WORLD. A picturesque constellation of small urban and agricultural  communities, developed after  Nova Town, will be sharing their  Center/Expo as a place for their local and international trade shows, local barter, scientific, educational and cultural events.   This way these independent communities will stay in live communication with the rest of the world on a regular basis.

WHY SMALL TOWNS AND SMALL SYSTEMS?  Our gigantic systems, whether they are  energy providers, transportation or food manufacturers do not serve any real individual  but a non-existing collective prototype. Moreover, if they break they create disasters on a grand scale. It is much easier to invent, fix, improve and even replace small systems.

Unlike contemporary cookie-cutter developments, Nova Town encourages originality in all aspects, whether we deal with  architecture or infrastructure, building materials, or  cultural interests.     

PROVIDING SUPPORT GLOBALLY.   Our overpopulated industrialized  cities develop their specific problems that are very different from the problems from which a poor rural population suffers. To believe that a poor hungry part of the world shall follow our over 100-year-old industrial revolution is a no-go idea.     

Nova Town sustainable MICRO-ECONOMY and systems are  flexible and adjustable toward environmentally sound, local natural resources within any climate and cultural roots, offering  practical solutions to local and global economic and environmental problems. 

FIRST STEP. Building a first Futuristic Model Town. Without having a living, fully functional model it would be unrealistic to persuade people to follow our unusual ideas as just some good ideas.  This first model is to invite people to visit and experience first hand a new living, mentality and inspiration.   Local work from bread baking and cheese making, to custom furniture, local fashions and dressmaking, from local small organic farming,  alternative energy and green products, to building small greater schools where students will learn not only about human history, physics, and ethics, but learn great skills first hand from the local traditional craftsmen, farmers, inventors or researchers, will be an exciting invitation to make a step into a wiser, kinder and more intelligent future.

MORE EFFORTS.  Our SAGE ERA Nova Society Symposia is what we believe an international society of scholars, artists, inventors and gifted laymen may become in the future. It has no conventional barriers for sound innovation and great ideas coming from all kinds of different fields and backgrounds.

Nova Town's main strategy is NOT about avoiding problems of any kind, but about facing them and finding the best solutions for these problems, whether they are global or local.

In this case we do not need to fight these greedy industries. When consumers ignore them they still have a choice  to change for the better and serve consumers' sound demands, or fall apart. 
It is crucial to understand what power REALLY drives our economy and markets. CONSUMERS are the KINGS of their markets. Without consumers we have no markets. Producers or financial institutions are TO SERVE THEM, not to manipulate them. We shall learn about these basic simple economic laws, which are so twisted in our postmodern society.
