Our goal is to build a small innovative futuristic town that will serve as an inspiration and possible standard for other communities around the world. Nova Town futuristic society is thinking beyond the thick walls of the established criteria and institutions. Nova Town main strategy is NOT about avoiding problems of any kind, but about facing them and finding the best solutions for these problems, whether they are global or local. In many cases, preaching, or sharing with threatening facts about our problems and repetitive mistakes, cannot help the majority of people change their life for the better. The modern minds become so occupied slaving for our brainless profit-driven systems that we no longer take time to contemplate who we really are, why we are here, and what we are physically and mentally consuming and becoming. We miss to understand the essence of our existence. Our society desperately needs to create and practically explore a different lifestyle and therefore change its old recycling mentality within its new peaceful meaningful environment. Nova Town is pioneering this new field, showing how to practically create a new kinder and wiser "chapter" in our unfortunate human history. AT THE PRESENT TIME we need to rethink our communities' LOCAL economic structures. We often see ghost-like new housing developments all over the USA which are built for residential purpose only - there are no local restaurants, bakeries, small stores, galleries or schools allowed in there, so residents have to drive to these boring cookie-cutters-shopping-malls to get things which can be produced and sold on promises by local people. Our non-profit www.novatownsite.org suggests this NOVA TOWN MICRO-ECONOMY solution. We can restructure our economy by letting small businesses grow while servicing local needs, for instance, by giving some responsible homeowners permits to do businesses from their homes - so they would be able to turn their homes into "RETAIL STUDIOS". Only this great diverse type of economy that combines varieties of different small businesses, can easily adjust to our real circumstances and sober demands, and only this kind of economy can create important intelligent jobs, but without wasting billions of dollars (remember GM!). If we support these Meaningful SMALL BUSINESSES which create local sustainability in every neighborhood, while making Hardworking people happy to do local work from bread baking and cheese making, to custom furniture and dressmaking, from local small organic farming, alternative energy and green products, to building small greater schools where students will learn not only about human history, physics, and ethics, but learn great skills first hand from the local traditional craftsmen, farmers, inventors or researchers, we would start recovering in no time. Moreover this will be the way to start building our better future, and show the rest of the deeply confused human world how to stop to foolishly follow the old patterns created by brainless monopolies and their monstrous infrastructures. ABOUT NOVA TOWN DEVELOPMENT: For a number of years our non-profit organization has been contributing in a very unusual project in Nevada, designing an international, highly inspirational small futuristic community, NOVA TOWN, which goal is to rethink and replace the prime paradigms which currently run our stressed-out society. At the present time we privately own over 25 acres of beautiful land in GOODSPRINGS, NEVADA. Breakthrough ideas ranging from new infrastructure, alternative energy, transportation, healthcare, communication, advanced education and new agricultural experience will allow us to practice our wiser, more peaceful and inspirational future.
